Results of Local Government Elections in All 18 Communities Announced

As is known, local self-government body (LSGB) elections were held yesterday in a number of consolidated communities in Armenia. The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia has published the preliminary results of the local self-government body elections held the day before in 18 communities of Armenia. In particular, in the Charentsavan community of Kotayk Province, according to preliminary data, the “United Community” alliance won, gathering 6,812 votes. As is known, local self-government body (LSGB) elections were held yesterday in a number of consolidated communities in Armenia.

The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia has published the preliminary results of the local self-government body elections held the day before in 18 communities of Armenia.

In particular, in the Charentsavan community of Kotayk Province, according to preliminary data, the “United Community” alliance won, gathering 6,812 votes. The ruling “Civil Contract” party received 5,571, and the “Country of Living” party 839 votes.

In the Tashir community of Lori Province, according to preliminary data, the “United Community” alliance won with 5,904 votes. The “Civil Contract” party received 2,376 votes in this community.

In the Chambarak community of Gegharkunik Province, the only force nominated, the “Democratic Alternative” party, received 5,275 votes. In this community, 5,374 citizens participated in the voting.

In the Talin community of Aragatsotn Province, according to preliminary data, the “Civil Contract” party won, receiving 7,990 votes. The “Fair Armenia” party gathered 2,323 votes in Talin, the ARF 1,193, the “Country of Living” party 913, and the “Stability” party 879 votes.

In the Alaverdi community of Lori Province, the “Country of Living” party won, receiving 6,791 votes. The “Civil Contract” party gathered 6,557 votes in Alaverdi, the ANC 340, and the ARF 316 votes.

In the Kajaran community of Syunik Province, the “Towards Unity” alliance won, gathering 2,233 votes. The CP received 1,118 votes in Kajaran, and the “Republic” party 482 votes.

In the Areni community of Vayots Dzor Province, the CP celebrated a confident victory, gathering 3,281 votes. 388 voters cast their ballots for the “Republic” party.

In the Berd community of Tavush Province, the “Strong Community” alliance of the clan-based community head won with 5,685 votes. The CP received 4,298 votes in Berd, and the “Dignified Generation” alliance 1,097 votes.

In the Sisian community of Syunik Province, the “Civil Contract” party also won with 4,093 votes. The “Labour and Justice” alliance gathered 2,693 votes, the “Country of Living” party 2,307, the “One Armenia” party 979, the “Alliance of Defenders of Democracy for the Republic” 794, the “Developing Community” alliance 570, and the ARF 403 votes.

In the Berd community of Lori Province, according to preliminary data, the CP won, receiving 1,254 votes. The “Country of Living” party gathered 619 votes in this community, and the “Republic” party 338 votes.

In the Byureghavan community of Kotayk Province, according to preliminary data, the “Unity” alliance won with 2,079 votes. The CP gathered 1,247 votes here. 1,157 voters cast their ballots for the “Fair Armenia” party, and the ARF received 166 votes.

In the Akunk community of Kotayk Province, the CP won, gathering 2,708 votes. The “Consolidation” alliance received 2,098 votes here.

In the Ani community of Shirak Province, according to preliminary data, the “Nation-Community” alliance won, gathering 3,763 votes. The CP received 3,032 votes in Ani, and the “Armenian Dream” party 1,037 votes.

In the Tsaghkahovit community of Aragatsotn Province, the CP also won. 2,299 people voted for the ruling force in this community. The “Bright Armenia” party gathered 181 votes, the “Strong Community” alliance 1,327, and the “Republic” party 539 votes.

In the Gyulagarak community of Lori Province, a fierce struggle took place between the “Civil Contract” and “Country of Living” parties. The CP received 1,779 votes, and the “Country of Living” party 1,731 votes.

In the Jrvezh community of Kotayk Province, 2,084 voters cast their ballots for the only force nominated, the CP. In Jrvezh, 2,177 people participated in the voting.

In the Yeghegis community of Vayots Dzor Province, according to preliminary data, the CP won, gathering 1,593 votes. The “Liberal” party gathered 1,162 votes, and the “Rise” party 45 votes.
