Russian peacekeeping servicemen continue to monitor the ceasefire regime and exercise control from observation posts equipped with modern fortifications and comfortable living conditions, deployed in the territory of Artsakh.
According to Armenpress, this was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The observation posts are equipped with fortifications designed to protect the servicemen from small-arms fire and shrapnel, as well as to provide circular surveillance of the surrounding area.
At present, the peacekeepers are carrying out round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the maintenance of the ceasefire regime.
Every day, drills are conducted with the personnel of the Russian peacekeepers’ observation posts on the necessary actions in the event of a violation of the ceasefire regime. Drills are also conducted for defence in the event of possible attacks on the observation posts.
