On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.
The message reads, in particular:
“Dear Nikol Vovayi,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.
In Russia, we value the friendly, allied relations with Armenia.
I am confident that the constructive dialogue between our countries, bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as interaction within the framework of integration processes in the Eurasian space, will continue to develop dynamically from now on. This, undoubtedly, corresponds to the interests of the Russian and Armenian peoples and proceeds in line with ensuring regional security and stability.
I wish you, dear Nikol Vovayi, good health and success, and to all citizens of Armenia — peace and prosperity.”
The President of the Russian Federation also sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sargsyan, in which it is stated:
“Dear Armen Vardani,
Please accept my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday — the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.
The relations between our countries are based on the traditions of friendship and mutual respect. The further development of allied relations and multifaceted cooperation, undoubtedly, stems from the long-term interests of our fraternal peoples and contributes to the strengthening of peace, stability and security in the region.
I sincerely wish you good health and success, and to the friendly people of Armenia — well-being and prosperity.”
