Nouneh Sarkissian, the wife of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, has undergone heart surgery. This was announced on 27 April by Nouneh Sarkissian, the wife of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, on her Instagram page.
She wrote, in particular:
“I recently had heart surgery in the Cardiac Surgery Department of Yerevan’s Astghik Medical Center. Thanks to surgeon Mher Sasouni, cardiologist Karine Sarkissian, anesthesiologist Yeva Krasnikova, a dedicated team of excellent doctors and fully specialized nurses, my heart has been restored, it is now in the process of recovery, and I have been given the opportunity to begin my life anew. I am grateful to the entire team.
I am also grateful to all those who sent bouquets, books, cards, letters and good wishes, which helped me greatly.”
