Following a bomb alert at the “Yekamole Armenia” shopping center, rescuers and police officers are carrying out an evacuation; about 350 citizens have been brought out to a safe area. According to “Armenpress”, this was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. Rescue service and police teams are carrying out bomb search operations.
It should be noted that on 6 July at 13:30, the National Crisis Management Center received information from the police that a message had been spread on a social platform stating that bombs had been placed on the 1st and 2nd floors of the “Yekamole Armenia” shopping center in Yerevan, which were to explode at 13:50.
One combat crew from the fire-rescue squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the MES Rescue Service, field groups of the rescue, firefighting and rescue operations organization division of the Special Purpose Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Forces Department, and an instructor from the psychological support division arrived at the scene.
