Gallup has published its 2019 “Global Law and Order” report, which presents which countries have made progress during the year in meeting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal of having “just, peaceful and inclusive societies.”
In the report, Armenia appears in the top ten safest countries, ranking 7th, between Switzerland and Finland. To the question of whether they feel safe in Armenia, 89 percent answered yes.
The three safest countries are Singapore, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2018, only 13 percent of Afghans said they feel safe, making that country rank last on the list. The bottom three are Afghanistan, Venezuela, and South Africa.
