Armenia is among the top ten countries that Russian tourists preferred to visit in the spring of 2021, OneTwoTrip reports.
As reported by Armenpress, citing RIA Novosti, the company’s experts analyzed users’ flight ticket search queries from March 1 to May 31.
It was found that Moscow enjoys the greatest popularity (15 percent).
Sochi is in second place, with every tenth respondent wishing to travel there. St. Petersburg occupies the third position.
In addition, the list includes Simferopol, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.
Among foreign countries, Russians gave priority to Turkey (18 percent). The United Arab Emirates and Egypt are in the top three most sought-after destinations. Customers also frequently check the possibility of buying tickets to the Maldives, Uzbekistan, the USA, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Armenia and Serbia.
