Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Chief Commissioner for the Republic of Armenia’s participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 World Exhibition, Tigran Khachatryan, and the exhibition’s Executive Director, Najib Al-Ali, have signed the agreement regarding Armenia’s participation in the exhibition at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the ministry’s Department of Public Relations, Tigran Khachatryan and Najib Al-Ali subsequently discussed a number of organizational issues related to Armenia’s participation in the exhibition.
The parties also spoke about the organization of Armenia’s National Day at the exhibition.
Present at the meeting was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Armenia, Mohammed Al Zaabi.
The Dubai Expo 2020 World Exhibition will be held under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.” It will open on 20 October 2020 and will last approximately six months.
192 countries will participate in the exhibition. Participating countries will present their cultural heritage, economy, and in particular their investment and tourism potential.
