Popular Armenian-American singer Cher (Cherilyn Sarkisian) on Twitter addressed the killing of the pastor of the Armenian Catholic community in Qamishli and his father by Islamic extremist terrorists, directing her words to the President of the United States.
“If the ‘Islamic State’ has returned, you and Erdogan brought them. You helped Erdogan massacre Kurds. People are suffering, being killed, simply because your ‘dear Erdogan’ must remain satisfied. The ‘Islamic State’ killed the Armenian priest and his father. Has Erdogan bought you with money, with power, or with both together,” Cher stated, ahead of the Trump-Erdogan meeting expected in Washington on the afternoon of November 13.
