Families of Those Posthumously Awarded the Highest Title of “National Hero of Armenia” or the “Battle Cross” Medal to Receive Cash Award

Families of those who fell during the defense of the Republic of Armenia, as well as while performing service or official duties, and who were posthumously awarded the highest title of “National Hero of Armenia” or, by decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the “Battle Cross” medal, are entitled to a cash award: the family of a person awarded the highest title of “National Hero of Armenia” — 250,000 drams, the family of a person awarded the first-class “Battle Cross” medal — 150,000 drams, the family of a person awarded the second-class “Battle Cross” medal — 100,000

Families of those who fell during the defense of the Republic of Armenia, as well as while performing service or official duties, and who were posthumously awarded the highest title of “National Hero of Armenia” or, by decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the “Battle Cross” medal, are entitled to a cash award:

  • the family of a person awarded the highest title of “National Hero of Armenia” — 250,000 drams,
  • the family of a person awarded the first-class “Battle Cross” medal — 150,000 drams,
  • the family of a person awarded the second-class “Battle Cross” medal — 100,000 drams.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs informs that the cash award is assigned to one member of the fallen person’s family, on behalf of all family members:
