On 7 July, a garden-park bearing the name of the renowned chansonnier Charles Aznavour was opened in the Shoghakat settlement of the enlarged Shoghakat community in Gegharkunik Province. This was announced by the Gegharkunik provincial administration.

The contractual value of the construction amounted to 18 million 860 thousand drams, of which 45 percent was allocated by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and 55 percent by the Shoghakat community administration.
