US President-elect Joe Biden received the second dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech American-German jointly produced vaccine on 11 January.
As reported by CNN, the politician was injected in front of cameras to reassure the country’s residents that the vaccines are safe. Biden received the injection at a hospital in the state of Delaware.
As the television channel notes, the “Corona” virus is spreading on a large scale in the US. More than 374,500 Americans have died as a result of the infection, while the number of infected has exceeded 22 million.
Biden had received the first dose of the vaccine last month, again during a live broadcast.
It should be noted that Biden’s inauguration ceremony is to take place on 20 January.
