The organizers of “WCIT 2019” have announced that businesswoman, television personality, model, and producer Kim Kardashian-West will participate in the 23rd World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2019) as a keynote speaker and moderator.
According to Armenpress, one of the world’s most prestigious conferences on Information Technology (IT) will take place this year in Yerevan, on October 6-9.
Kim Kardashian-West will speak at the “Market of Ideas” expert plenary session, where it will be discussed to what extent decentralized technologies have contributed to the popularization of the worlds of entertainment, media, and journalism, and to what extent they have revolutionized our methods of art and information dissemination, on the path to creating new stars.
It is noted that Kim Kardashian-West actively used her platform for criminal justice reform, and in May announced that she had begun studying law in California. This September she is to present her anticipated “SKIMS” clothing line, in addition to the “KKW BEAUTY” and “KKW Fragrance” collections, which were released in 2017.
The WCIT World Congress on IT is the most prominent conference of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA). The Alliance is an association of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) unions from 83 countries, representing 90 percent of the sector. This year’s theme of the WCIT World Congress on IT is “The Power of Decentralization: Expectations and Perils.” During the congress it will be discussed how information and communications technologies are transforming our lives in both positive and negative ways, and what impact they will have on profit and welfare, security and safety, democracy and humanity.
More than 2,000 participants from 70 countries are expected at the Yerevan congress.
