«Ramgavar Mamoul» – Garo Pailan, the Armenian member of Turkey’s parliament, intends to file a lawsuit against Margar Yesayan.
«Ramgavar Mamoul» received this information from Constantinople. According to our source, Pailan wrote a letter of denial-protest in response to the article bearing Margar Yesayan’s signature and published in the pro-government newspaper «Aksham», which has not yet been published in that newspaper.
On this matter, «Ramgavar Mamoul» addressed a question to a source considered close to Pailan to ascertain the current situation, and the latter, answering our question, stated that “everything is possible; the newspaper has still not printed Pailan’s denial, a matter as a consequence of which Garo Pailan may sue Margar Yesayan.”
Let us recall that this is not the first time Yesayan has displayed such conduct; on various occasions he has taken openly anti-Armenian positions, and in his latest column in «Aksham», he not only directed insults against Pailan, but, indirectly addressing Turkey’s nationalist circles, characterized Garo as a person acting against the Turkish state.
He has also voiced heavy accusations against the traditional Armenian parties, considering their activities terrorist and consequently likening them to the Kurdish PKK party, which is banned and considered terrorist in Turkey.
