Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the preliminary discussions of the draft 2027 state budget that there will no longer be conflictual agendas in the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the prime minister, if it turns out that the parliamentary opposition by its position halts the further process of adopting the new Constitution and speaks out against it, that will mean that the opposition is speaking out against final peace with Azerbaijan.
“In that case unambiguous public pressure will unambiguously arise toward the opposition, the ruling majority must lead that pressure, if that public mood exists,” the prime minister stressed.
According to him, in the coming period their efforts will be directed at obtaining the answers to those questions.
“Our political position has always been the following, that we do not discuss our domestic agendas in the foreign perimeter and outside it, but also, faced with the questions raised and emphasized in Armenia, this is a topic with which we must deal actively,” Nikol Pashinyan emphasized.
