Specialists from the International Demining Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense have cleared approximately 250 hectares of land, more than 95 kilometers of roads, and 423 residential buildings in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
According to the department, more than 8,300 explosive devices have been found and neutralized.
It was noted that during the demining and clearance of explosive objects in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian peacekeepers use modern robotic technical complexes, which allow maintaining the pace of demining operations in mountainous terrain and deteriorating weather conditions.
