On 28 November, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will hold the 22nd national fundraising telethon under the title “My sweet Armenia — life-giving water and sun for the communities”, which will begin with a live broadcast on the Armenian Public Television at 22:00.
The first 4 hours of the 12-hour pan-Armenian event will this year take place in Yerevan, while the following 8 hours will be broadcast from Los Angeles.
The funds raised during “Telethon-2019” will be directed to the implementation of drinking water supply and solar energy programmes in Artsakh, as well as in three provinces of Armenia — Tavush, Lori and Shirak. In total, more than one hundred communities will benefit from the programmes and will be provided with round-the-clock water supply, free heating and electricity.
“We call on the entire Armenian nation to take part in the pan-Armenian fundraising drive and, through united efforts, to develop our communities. Our new website, equipped with cutting-edge technology and full of innovations, has been launched at the same address, making the Fund’s work fully transparent and accountable to the Armenian nation, as well as enabling online donations in the format of your choice. You can familiarise yourselves with the new website’s features, as well as the online donation mechanisms, by visiting https://www.himnadram.org/hy/donate,” the Fund said.
