The Ministry of Justice has launched the first unified public services office in the center of Yerevan. This was reported by the ministry’s press service.
It was noted that all convenient conditions have been created for citizens to receive, from a single center, the services of the Agency for the Registration of Acts of Civil Status, the State Registration of Legal Entities, the State Revenue Committee, the National Archives, the Social Security Service, the Migration Service, the Cadastre Committee, the Funeral Bureau, as well as notary services.
Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan told journalists that 97 state services will be provided from the center, which will later be expanded.
“A service center of the Passport and Visa Department will also be opened near this area, thereby expanding the number of services; then, after correcting the issues that arise during operation, we will also include community services and open unified offices throughout the entire territory of Armenia,” said Badasyan.
The minister elaborated that if a citizen has matters related to several bodies, they will be able to carry them out in one center without visiting different state bodies.
The premises have a waiting hall, a parking lot, and are equipped with bank terminals and queue management devices (an electronic queueing option is also available via the Earlyone mobile application).
In the unified public services office, citizens can submit applications every working day from 09:00-14:00 and 15:00-18:00. Depending on the number of citizens applying to the office, it will also operate on rest days if necessary. The unified public services office was established in accordance with the Government’s 2019-2023 action program.
