Thanks to the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations held in the Belarusian city of Gomel, near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, the sides have reached an agreement on the question of continuing them in the coming days.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, has stated that “the sides will go to their capitals for consultations.”
The head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, also said after the negotiations, which lasted about five hours, that “certain points have been found through which common positions can be anticipated.”
