The village of Nor Shen in the Shushi district has come under Azerbaijani encirclement. This information was reported to NEWS.am by the head of the Nor Shen community, David Davtyan.
He said that at the moment the situation in the village is calm: “The village is under encirclement, but the situation is calm, no action is being taken. There is an open section through part of our village, through which we were able to evacuate the residents.”
The community head said that he has remained in the community.
“At this moment the Russian peacekeepers have arrived. Psychological pressure is simply being applied. The people are in a panic,” Davtyan said.
It should be noted that the village of Hin Shen in the Shushi district has also come under Azerbaijani encirclement, and its residents are currently in the village.
Let us recall that on 13 December, the administration of the Kashatagh district of Artsakh had reported that an Azerbaijani unit had advanced toward the inter-village road connecting the settlements of Mets Shen and Hin Shen in the Shushi district.
