Iranian parliament member Ahmadi Pilash, during a speech at a parliamentary session, addressed the Artsakh war, Turkey’s policy, and also criticised and directed insults at Turkish President Erdogan. This is reported by Ermenihaber.

Pilash noted that the assassination attempts against Iranian nuclear scientists are a consequence of the Turkish president’s policies, and added:

“In the killings of our scientists, Erdogan’s role is no less than Netanyahu’s (Israel’s prime minister).”

According to him, Erdogan wants to split Iran, and Turkey is the West’s subcontractor in the region.

The Iranian MP expressed the necessity of supporting the decisions on sanctions planned against Turkey by the US and the EU.

Referring to the Artsakh war, he emphasised that to maintain the balance of forces, Iran should have supported Armenia, while also heeding the words of the Spiritual Leader that “occupied territories must be liberated.”

“Our foreign ministry’s response to Erdogan was good, but not sufficient. Because of our fatal negligence, the silence of the parliament’s Azerbaijani-speaking deputies, and the imprudence of the leadership, Turkey’s sick president is displaying behaviour aimed at partitioning Iran. Erdogan is one of those implementing the West’s dirty policy in the region, and his hands are stained with the blood of the people of Iraq, Syria, the Kurds, and the Armenians, and like his ancestors, whose hands were also stained with the blood of millions of Assyrians, Greeks, and Armenians (whose genocide is known to history), last week he officially declared his role as the successor of the Ottoman emperor.

Recently, at the Baku military parade, he recited a poem about the Arax River, and addressing the people of Iran’s Azerbaijan, declared: ‘We have not been separated from you; we were separated from you by force,’ and said that the Arax will soon gain strength. Azerbaijani deputies of Iran’s parliament, where are you? Respected president of the parliament and some deputies, who are now absorbed day and night in the presidential elections, do you know that last week at the Baku military parade Erdogan recited a passage from the song ‘Araz,’ which for a group of opportunists is a symbol of the division on the two banks of the Arax, the secret of Iran’s partition. The time has come to return our foreign policy to its proper course,” he said.
