As previously reported, the Armenian Brotherhood of Jerusalem marked the 50th anniversary of the ecclesiastical service of the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, the Apostolic See of the Armenian Church, on 25 July 2021.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Patriarch Nourhan, and following the Divine Liturgy, the fathers of the Brotherhood, as well as dignitaries of the Jerusalem Armenian community, entered together the main hall of the Patriarchate, where appropriate speeches were delivered.
For this occasion, at the reception organised, Tigran Lepedjian had prepared a surprise gift for the Patriarch Father — a porcelain plate depicting the timeline of the Patriarch’s contribution and legacy over the course of 50 years.
This unique gift was met with the admiration and high appreciation of the Patriarch Father and the Jerusalem Armenian community.
It should be noted that the artist Tigran Lepedjian is considered one of the Armenians who has made a great contribution to the continuity of the Armenian porcelain art in Jerusalem and the preservation of its high quality.
