Buildings Constructed by Armenian Craftsmen in Malatya Did Not Collapse

The houses in the old Armenian quarter of Malatya were almost undamaged by the powerful earthquakes recorded in Turkey in February. This was reported from Malatya by Frat Saroyan. Saroyan, who made a post on this topic on his Facebook page, also added that the brick houses built by Armenian craftsmen 150-200 years ago in Malatya remained standing, whereas most newly constructed buildings collapsed.   Source: Akunq.net
