The deadline for applying to the “I Gorts” 2022 program of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has been extended to May 10.
The program gives diaspora Armenian specialists the opportunity to work for one year in more than 20 bodies of Armenia’s public administration. Specialists who hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 5 years of work experience, or a master’s degree (or higher) and 3 years of professional work experience, may apply to the program. Applications are accepted in Armenian, English and Russian.
After the review of applications and interviews, diaspora Armenian specialists will begin work in the respective departments on September 1 of this year for a one-year term.
This program is a unique opportunity for diaspora Armenian specialists to contribute to the cause of Armenia’s state-building and to bring their experience and knowledge to the field of public administration. Within the framework of the program, more than 100 diaspora Armenian specialists have already begun work in more than 25 departments in Armenia and Artsakh.
“I Gorts” receives funding from the Republic of Armenia. Selected participants are provided with a round-trip air ticket, a living allowance of 336,000 AMD per month during the program, health insurance, and the fee for obtaining one-year residence status.
