Erdogan Attends Opening of Airport in Seized Varanda

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has departed for Azerbaijan at the invitation of the Azerbaijani president. In a statement issued by the Turkish president’s press service, it was noted that Erdogan, during his visit to Azerbaijan, attended the opening ceremony of the airport built in Fizuli over the course of 8 months. The symbolic keys were handed over to the leaders of the two states. The foundation of the airport was laid on 14 January, and the first test flight took place on 5 September.
