Gyumri’s David Chaloyan Becomes World Boxing Vice-Champion

David Chaloyan, a member of Armenia’s boxing team, yesterday became the silver medalist of the World Boxing Championships. In the 92 kg and above category at the World Championships taking place in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, the 24-year-old Chaloyan, who competed against Russian Mark Petrovsky (22 years old), suffered a defeat by a 4-1 decision of the judges.
