Iran supports the “3+3” format and believes that regional issues can be resolved through intra-regional mechanisms.
This was stated by Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian during a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
“The foreign ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan discussed bilateral cooperation and prospects,” read a statement published on the website of Iran’s foreign ministry.
In addition, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to the further development of mutual cooperation and their contribution to peace and prosperity in the region.
