Iran-Russia Relations Are Strategic: Ebrahim Raisi

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has described Iran-Russia relations as strategic and called for strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries. As reported by the IRNA agency, Raisi made this statement while receiving the credentials of Russia’s new ambassador to Tehran, Alexey Dedov. Describing Tehran-Moscow relations as strategic, the Iranian president said that Iran and Russia have good foundations for cooperation in bilateral, regional and international spheres. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has described Iran-Russia relations as strategic and called for strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

Describing Tehran-Moscow relations as strategic, the Iranian president said that Iran and Russia have good foundations for cooperation in bilateral, regional and international spheres.

Referring to the growing diplomatic relations between the two countries, he called for strengthening Iran-Russia strategic cooperation in the economic sphere.

Alexey Dedov, for his part, called for expanding economic cooperation between Iran and Russia, adding that the strategic economic cooperation between Iran and Russia has disappointed Western countries with regard to their policy of imposing sanctions.
