During the congress of Turkey’s ruling “Justice and Development” party, Istanbul-Armenian doctor Sevan Sivacıoğlu became a member of the party’s executive committee.
According to the Turkish Milliyet, Recep Tayyip Erdogan was re-elected as chairman of the ruling party, and the Istanbul-Armenian doctor found a place among the members of the executive committee.
Sevan Sivacıoğlu studied at the medical faculty of Istanbul University from 1993 to 1999. He worked as a surgeon at the Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital.
