«Armenian Haber» – Margar Yesayan, a member of the Turkish parliament and representative of the ruling «Justice and Development» party (AKP), has published an article full of accusations against Garo Paylan, an Armenian-origin deputy, in the pro-government «Akşam» newspaper. Referring in particular to the visit made to Latin America by Garo Paylan, a deputy of the pro-Kurdish «Peoples’ Democratic» party (HDP), and Ebru Günay, a deputy of the same party, he wrote.
«Two HDP deputies have set out on a tour in South America. They have asked international forces to intervene in Turkey’s affairs.
This conduct of theirs — going from country to country, parliament to parliament, and asking international forces to intervene in Turkey’s affairs — transported me by time machine to the beginning of the last century. The «Kurdistan Workers’ Party» (PKK) and the HDP are more than the Dashnaks and Hunchakians, but no less», wrote Yesayan.
For his part, Garo Paylan responded to the aforementioned article with a rather harsh post on his Twitter page:
«During all our meetings in Latin America, we only called for support for Turkey’s democratic forces. This is an obvious slander. If you do not prove what has been said, then you are a slanderer, Margar.
