Azerbaijani military experts have cast doubt on the country’s Defense Ministry’s version that the cause of the crash of a MiG-29 into the Caspian Sea on 24 July was a bird strike. After an investigation lasting about a month, Azerbaijan’s military department had announced that the cause of the aircraft’s crash during a training flight on 24 July was birds, following a collision with which the aircraft disappeared from radars and fell into the Caspian Sea.
Incidentally, the crash of the Azerbaijani MiG is not news, and in recent months this is the umpteenth such incident to occur in that country.
