According to the source, the Kote Meskhi lane in the Mtatsminda neighborhood has been named after Sergei Parajanov.

Sergei Parajanov was born in 1924 in Tbilisi. In 1942, having completed secondary school, he received his graduation certificate and was admitted to the construction department of the Tbilisi Railway Transport Engineering College. A year later, Parajanov realized that he loved art more and left the college, enrolling in two higher institutions: the vocal department of the Tbilisi Conservatory and the dance school attached to the Opera Theatre.

In September 1992, a memorial plaque was unveiled on Parajanov’s house in Tbilisi. On November 6, 2004, a monument to Parajanov (in a leap) was erected in the old part of Tbilisi.
