Search and Rescue Teams Not Allowed into Fizuli: Artsakh Rescue Service

Three search and rescue teams of the Artsakh State Emergency Service were not allowed to leave for Fizuli on 29 December. Hunan Tadevosyan, head of the information and public relations department of the Artsakh State Emergency Service, said this in an interview with NEWS.am. “The search and rescue team, according to the previous day’s agreement, had left for Fizuli, but the Azerbaijanis did not allow them to conduct search operations there. “The search and rescue team, according to the previous day’s agreement, had left for Fizuli, but the Azerbaijanis did not allow them to conduct search operations there. Now search operations are underway in Hadrut, Jabrayil, Qubadli, Zangilan and near the village of Khndzoresk in the Syunik region,” added Hunan Tadevosyan.

According to him, to date a total of 1,111 bodies of fallen servicemen have been found.

It should be noted that yesterday the Azerbaijanis had not allowed three search and rescue teams to enter Hadrut.
