The temple of the three Abrahamic religions — Christianity, Islam and Judaism — is planned to open next year (2022) in Abu Dhabi. This was announced by the UAE ambassador to Russia, Muhammad Al Jaber.

He reported that a cooperation agreement between the institution and the UAE embassy was signed at the Jewish Museum and the Centre for Tolerance. The event was dedicated to the International Day of Human Fraternity, which the UN proclaimed at the initiative of the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain.

“In 2022, the temple of the world’s three religions — Islam, Christianity and Judaism — is planned to open in Abu Dhabi. It will be called the ‘House of the Abrahamic Family,’” the ambassador said at the event.

The religious complex, in his words, will become a place of learning, dialogue and worship. It will, as the diplomat noted, contribute to bringing people of all faiths closer together.
