German Chancellor Angela Merkel has stated that Turkey has no prospect of becoming a full EU member, commenting on Turkey’s latest provocations in Cyprus, wrote Greek City Times.
“To this day I have not seen the possibility of Turkey’s membership in the EU,” said Merkel, noting that she is making efforts to establish good relations with Ankara.
