The Lachin corridor has been blocked not by Azerbaijani “protesters” but by the Russian peacekeeping contingent. Hikmet Hajiyev, head of the foreign policy department of the Azerbaijani presidential administration, made such an absurd statement during a meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps.
“The Lachin corridor has been blocked not by Azerbaijani protesters but by the Russian peacekeeping contingent. Representatives of Azerbaijani civil society are trying to prevent the transport of stolen natural resources, not to obstruct the movement of other vehicles of civilian significance,” Hajiyev said.
Let us recall that since 12 December, at 10:30, Azerbaijanis have, allegedly for environmental reasons, blocked the Stepanakert-Goris road.
