The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, insists that China has promised the EU not to provide military aid to Russia.
“China has assured that it does not intend to provide military aid to Russia or to help circumvent sanctions,” Borrell said.
He also stressed that Beijing could help Russia without the EU’s knowledge.
Borrell ruled out the likelihood of imposing sanctions on China at this stage for supporting the Russian Federation.
