Mahir Boztepe, editor-in-chief of Sputnik Turkey, has been arrested in Constantinople, reports RIA Novosti.
The police took him to the general directorate of security.
Turkish police arrived at the Constantinople office, demanding a meeting with the agency’s representatives. A meeting was arranged at the request of the Turkish police.
Earlier, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the RT television channel, had stated that in Ankara unknown persons had broken into the homes of three Sputnik Turkey employees, accusing them of treason against the homeland.
