Elections in Turkey have been set for May 14. This was announced on Sunday by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, RIA Novosti reported.
“You will vote in the elections on May 14,” Erdogan said during a meeting with young people in Bursa.
The ruling “Justice and Development” and “Nationalist Movement” parties have formed the “People’s Alliance.” Turkish nationalist leader Bahceli has announced that President Erdogan will be the alliance’s candidate in the upcoming elections. The opposition has not yet put forward a candidate, but plans to make an announcement on this matter in February.
