Erdogan Discusses Steps Against Armenian Genocide Recognition with Supreme Advisory Council

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has discussed steps against the recognition of the Armenian Genocide worldwide with the Presidential Supreme Advisory Council (Public Council). According to the Turkish agency “Anadolu,” Fahrettin Altun, head of the Turkish President’s Directorate of Communications, stated that during the meeting, steps related to 1915 were discussed. He emphasized that those present agreed that certain international circles want to create division among Turks through 1915. “Under Erdogan’s leadership, ways to carry out efforts against the recognition of the Armenian Genocide through diplomatic means were also discussed,” Fahrettin Altun said.
