Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has ratified the law approving the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of defense industry with Azerbaijan. The corresponding decree of the Turkish leader was published in the official Resmi Gazete bulletin of the Turkish government.
The agreement provides for the development of cooperation in the field of defense goods and services, production, supply, maintenance, and related technological and material-technical support.
The agreement on cooperation between the governments of the two countries in the field of defense industry was signed on 31 October 2017, in Baku, following the results of the 6th session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council with the participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
