A meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Russia, Iran and Syria is in the preparation stage; the Russian side has proposed holding the meeting in Moscow next week. This announcement was made by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
“Our deputy foreign minister will travel to Moscow. The Iranian side will also participate in that meeting. Already in the next phase, the meeting of foreign ministers will take place at a time convenient for all of us. Next week, the quadrilateral meeting of the three delegations will take place in Moscow; we have received such an invitation, and we will participate,” said Cavusoglu during a press conference with his Iranian counterpart in Ankara.
It is worth recalling that on 6 March, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov announced that a meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, Syria, Turkey and Iran is being planned.
