Georgia’s parliament has expressed confidence in the government headed by Irakli Garibashvili. This is reported by the website pia.ge.
89 deputies voted in favour of the new government, 2 against.
It will be recalled that on 18 February, Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia submitted his resignation. After the prime minister’s resignation, the ruling “Georgian Dream” party nominated the country’s defence minister, former prime minister Irakli Garibashvili, for the post.
