From September 15, foreigners entering Georgia must have the results of a 72-hour PCR test, reports Sputnik Georgia. This was announced by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
According to him, this measure is necessary to manage risks and monitor the situation.
Only citizens of Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have the right to enter Georgia without conditions.
At this stage, entry will also be allowed for citizens of 13 more countries, including Spain, Luxembourg, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Greece, Sweden, Croatia, Italy, Slovakia, Iceland and Cyprus. Citizens of these countries must undergo quarantine (isolation) at their own expense after arriving in Georgia. By decision of the coordinating council, the quarantine period has now been reduced from 12 to 8 days.
