Global COVID-19 Death Toll Exceeds 5 Million

The number of people who have died from COVID-19 worldwide is approaching the 5 million mark.   Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 4,992,387 people have died from COVID-19 worldwide, while more than 246 million have been infected. The United States continues to rank first in the number of infections (46,601,658 people), followed by India (34,242,185) and Brazil (21,766,168). It should be noted that the number of deaths from COVID-19 worldwide had reached 4 million in July.
