Under the patronage of the Mayor of Lyon’s 8th arrondissement, on 17 February 2020, the opening of the exhibition of paintings by the renowned painter and artist Claude Chavush took place at the “Atrium de la mairie” exhibition hall, under the title “Portraits d’hier et d’aujourd’hui” (“Portraits of Yesterday and Today”).
“Ramgavar Mamoul” was informed of this from French sources. Our correspondent also reported that “the portraits displayed by the professional artist, endowed with refined taste, depict fragments of acquaintances acquired over the course of his life, valuing the individual, love and friendship.”
According to the description of “Ramgavar Mamoul”‘s correspondent, the ensemble of exhibited canvases is “a vision of the artist, created with a Portuguese breath and heritage, reflecting the nuances of contemporary human-to-human relations, daily life and individuality with unique mastery.”
It should be noted that the exhibition was attended and supported by the Chairman of the ADL Regional Board of France, Vice-President of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France, and member of the ADL Central Board, Vazgen Eskijian.
