Roma continues negotiations with London’s Arsenal regarding the extension of Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s loan. This is reported by sport24.ru.
According to Il Tempo, the Roman club wants to loan the 31-year-old Armenian footballer for another year and sign a mandatory purchase agreement in June 2021.
However, since Mkhitaryan’s contract is in effect until June of next year, he must first sign a new contract with Arsenal, and then with Roma.
Earlier it was reported that Mkhitaryan could become part of a deal to transfer from Roma to Arsenal, along with midfielder Justin Kluivert.
