The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that the US is encouraging unauthorized rallies on its territory, within the framework of the American strategy to contain Russia. This was stated in a message published on the department’s official page.
Moscow has called on Washington to cease its interference in the internal affairs of foreign states.
“The US’s crude interference in Russia’s internal affairs is as established a truth as their fake news,” the Russian Foreign Ministry noted. It is also reported that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s support for unauthorized actions further confirms Washington’s behind-the-scenes role.
It should be recalled that earlier, Secretary of State Blinken had condemned the harsh tactics adopted by the Russian authorities towards peaceful protesters and journalists supporting Navalny.
