Russia’s Federation Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin met with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev. During the meeting, Volodin conveyed to Aliyev the greetings and best wishes of Russia’s Federation President Vladimir Putin. “Russia-Azerbaijan relations are developing successfully, thanks to the efforts of our presidents on many issues,” he noted.
Vyacheslav Volodin emphasized that the State Duma and the Milli Majlis should work towards the legislative support of the implementation of the declaration on allied interaction between the two countries.
Aliyev expressed hope for the continuation of inter-parliamentary contacts with the Russian Federation, including on international platforms.
