Karabakh faces the danger of becoming a new foothold for terrorist groups, and from there there is a risk of militants entering the territory of the Russian Federation, said the head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin.
He noted that thousands of militants from terrorist organizations in the Middle East are being moved to the Karabakh conflict zone.
According to Naryshkin, Turkey’s open and unequivocal support for Azerbaijan is a fundamentally new external factor in the current escalation of the situation in Karabakh.
